Stripey cashmere scarves - new for this season

Mypashmina.co.uk has now made available these stylish pure cashmere scarves.

Only £44.50 with free delivery which represents excellent value.

All the pure cashmere items are hand made in Nepal, and the production facility in Kathmandu now employs over 60 people.

Cashmere is one of Nepals few successful exports and is important for the Nepalese economy.

New at mypashmina.co.uk , a pure cashmere ladies roundneck with leopard print. This style was inspired by the popularity of the leopard print pashmina stole (£57 delivered). It will be for sale at £84 which is a complete bargain, and not only that you could have it made with any background colour for just £108 .. so how about leopard print on a bright yellow background. Only in pure cashmere of course !

Eco cashmere dyed with natural dyes

Here are some pure cashmere hats and scarves dyes with vegetable dyes.

The range of colours available in cashmere dyed with vegetable dyes is limited at the moment, but with practice and some experimientation it should grow.

The exciting thing about these colours are how well they complement each other. They all have a wonderful depth which somehow seems superior to the sythetic dyes.

All items on mypashmina.co.uk will soon be available in a range of 10 natural colours.

The main benefit of using vegetable dyes (and the driving force behind the idea), is environmental. An incidental benefit is that the cashmere feels even softer than usual, which is quite incredible.

There are a couple of minor disadvantages. Namely, the items should be dry cleaned only. Wet washing may lead to some loss of colour.

pashminas in sweden

We have a swedish Mypashmina website too which has exactly the same stuff. A bit annoying though that it there are so many crap pages on google.se that either doesnt work, or just sell viscose rubbish. I wonder if english people appreciate genuin cashmere and spend more money on nice stuff than swedes? I think so really, a lot of swedes go to london over the weekend to do their shopping, because shopping in general here is just crap (I think)

The other day i had a mad old woman shouting at me for tricking her, saying that she found "pashminas" in a shop for like £10 and she was just runting at me, when i told her that its definitely not pure? Well i hope that someday soon genuine cashmere will be appreciated here as well..

If you want to read more about genuine cashmere you can go to www.cashmere.org. Oh.. I have made a list of the pashmina colours that are good for the Winter season 2oo8:

welcome to my blog!

Im Cashmere-caroline (and my boyfriend is of course called pashmina paul). We are the owners of the shop Mypashmina

So I will use this blogg to present our new styles and everything there is to know of think about pashminas.

For those of you that don't own a single piece of pashmina or cashmere, you are missing out!
Cashmere is the loveliest material you can dress in if you want to be soft and warm - and it doesn't itch!

I am an owner of about 20/30 cashmerejumpers now (lost count) , and the old ratty itchy woolen ones are gone long time ago - and will be forever.

Im not a fan of animal prints really (i sort of associate it with russian ladies with dyed hair, wearing with the rest of the outfit in gold) but it has been surprisingly popular.

All the first lot that we got in went almost immediately, now we have 100's of leopard print pashminas in stock and they are still the number 1!

So we have just got in some cashmere jumpers with leopard prints as well, which will be available next week!
